I recently read an interview with Joseph in which he says he’ll likely always consider himself a failure for not directly addressing the suffering of people. For me, this album makes me extremely aware of, and grateful for, everything in my life that is pure, wholesome and is worth treasuring and holding on to. I wouldn’t consider this a failure.
